1 cup Rava
2 tbsp Oil
¼ cup chopped onion
1 tsp Ginger
2 ½ cups Water
1 tsp Salt
2 tbsp Oil
1 tsp Mustard Seeds
1 tsp Cumin Seeds
¼ tsp Hing
1 tsp Chana Dal
1 tsp Urad Dal
12 Curry Leaves
2 Red Chillies
½ tsp Turmeric
½ tsp Red Chilli Powder
2 tbsp chopped Coriander
1 tbsp Lemon Juice
Dry roast rava until golden brown. Keep aside. Heat oil in a pan. Add onion and ginger and fry for a minute. Add water and salt in the pan and bring it to a boil.
Add the roasted rava and mix well. Cover the pan and simmer the heat to low. Cook for 10-12 minutes.
Remove from heat and let the mixture cool.
Make small rounds from the mixture.
Bring some water in a steamer to a boil.
Steam the balls for 10-12 minutes.
Heat oil for tempering in a pan.
Add mustard oil, cumin seeds. hing, chana dal, urad dal, curry leaves and dry red chillies in the pan and fry until dal until they turn brown.
Add turmeric and red chilli powder and fry for a minute.
Now add the steamed ball, fresh coriander and lemon juice and toss well. Serve hot.
1 cup rava
3 tbsp flour
½ cup curd
1 tsp cumin
2 green chilli, finely chopped
2 tbsp coriander
½ tsp salt
2 cup water
oil (for greasing)
1 cup mashed boiled potatoes
2 tbsp sesame
1 tbsp chopped coriander
1½ tbsp chilli powder
¾ tsp salt
2 tsp oil
½ tsp mustard
2 tbsp sesame
few curry leaves
½ tsp chilli flakes
2 tbsp coriander finely chopped
Mix together all the ingredients.
To make suji roll:
Take rava in a large bowl. Add flour, curd, cumin, chopped chilli, coriander and salt. mix well.
Add water as required and prepare a smooth free flowing batter & rest for 20 minutes
to prepare the roll, grease the plate with oil.
Pour a cup of batter and spread by rotating the plate.
Steam for 3 minutes, or until the suji batter is cooked completely.
Place the stuffing and roll tight. Cut into pieces using a sharp knife.
in a pan heat 2 tsp oil. Add mustard, sesame, few curry leaves and chilli flakes.
Allow to splutter and pour over prepared suji roll for a minute.
Garnish with 2 tbsp coriander and serve.
1 cup Rava
1 cup poha
1-1/2 cup Curd
1 cup Water
1/2 tablespoon Enos Fruit Salt
1 Carrot, finely chopped
1 Onion , finely chopped
1 Tomato , finely chopped
4 French Beans, finely chopped
3 tbsp Coriander Leaves , finely chopped
2 Green Chillies , finely chopped
Salt to taste
Oil as required
Take rava, yogurt and 1 cup water in a mixing bowl.
Make a lump free batter like an idli batter. Adjust water consistency accordingly. Rest for 10 minutes.
Add chopped carrot, onion, tomato, beans, green chillies and coriander in the batter. Add salt to taste. Add the Eno salt and mix well.
Heat the Appe pan and brush with oil. Add a to tbsp to each cavity. Cover & cook 4-5 minutes. Flip and cook on both sides. Remove & serve hot.
