Brett Ratner, the director who has been accused by 6 women of sexual harassment or assault, has filed a defamation lawsuit against Melanie Kohler, the woman who said he raped her back in the mid-2000’s.

Brett Ratner is taking legal action against the one of the women who accused him of sexual harassment.

According to Variety, the 48-year-old director has filed a defamation lawsuit against Melanie Kohler, who said on Facebook that Brett had raped her in the mid-2000’s.

She penned her story more than a week before the LA Times published the report of six women detailing how Ratner sexually harassed or assaulted them.

In Kohler’s post, she claimed Ratner was a rapist on at least one night in Hollywood about 12 years ago, adding that the director preyed on her as a drunk girl.

Ratner’s attorney describe Kohler’s accusations as libel per se, telling TMZ that her claims were entirely false, fabricated, and fictional.

Now we’re left to wonder if he will be filing lawsuits against the five other women.
