Ethiopia has been dominant in 10000 m both in Olympics, World championships in many years. This long adventure started since the first victory of the world known Great Athlete Abebe Bikila in 1960 Rom Olympics who won marathon barefooted. That was not enough he repeated the victory in Tokyo and went to Mexico for the third consecutive time. In the process he broke the world record and his fellow man won the Mexico marathon. Three Olympics in marathon consecutively was won only by Ethiopia til now.
