The Panasonic TX-65JZ1500B offers some of the best SDR and HDR images we have seen so far this year in a package that AVForums readers have been demanding for some time. Gone are the soundbar and up-firing speakers but the panel is now the top of the range Custom Professional Panel with the heat sink and increased brightness, giving enthusiasts a monitor-like package for use with their existing sound systems. Added to this is the usual accuracy out of the box for TV and film content added to new gaming features and most catch up apps and you almost have a full-on package for the film fan. There are a few niggles that stop it from attaining a Best in Class rating, but it does come highly recommended!
