Through visits to northeast Ohio art museums and schools and conversations with local artists, Sharing Art demonstrates real-world applications of techniques taught in middle and high school art classes.
Illustration: Rhonda Mitchell does a wonderful job of demonstrating sketching techniques. Each sketch is traced and then transferred to canvas for the application of oil paints. She shows how a dummy book is set up to give the artist an idea of the space available for each illustration. The school project shows students sketching out ideas and then painting the final products using acrylics and watercolor paints. Produced in 2001.
