Hi Everybody!
Migration has begun in earnest! Yesterday I sighted a handful of migratory species including this Male Yellow-bellied Sapsucker. Males have red throats, females have white.
This bird was starting to drill a hole in order to get sap. They love to drink sap, eat ants and other small insects.
I appreciate your views, comments and faves very much, including constructive criticism. Thank you! Have a wonderful day!
